Terms and Conditions:

The vessel is strictly non-smoking. Bay sail with course depending on weather conditions and at the Captain’s discretion. Currently, there is no lift access to the level one lounge. Access is via the internal or external staircases, so moderate mobility is required. We require confirmation of any special dietary requirements at least 10 days before the event. We can cater for vegetarian, gluten-free and dairy-free requirements. Please be aware that foods are prepared in an environment that may contain traces of other allergens. In the case of severe anaphylactic food allergies, the kitchen cannot guarantee food safety in these cases due to the operational handling of a wide variety of food products. As this is a ticketed fundraising event, not a direct donation to a charity, tickets are not tax-deductible, and GST applies. 100% of net proceeds will be distributed across the 11 supported community organisations. Silent auction items are subject to change.

From building planter boxes and ramps to assisting local schools, the shed promotes connection, purpose, and well-being—making a real difference in the lives of its members and the wider community.

Mornington Tourist Railway

Operated by the Mornington Railway Preservation Society, the Mornington Tourist Railway brings history to life with heritage train journeys through the heart of the Mornington Peninsula. Running every Sunday between Moorooduc and Mornington, the railway offers families, enthusiasts, and visitors the chance to ride in lovingly restored vintage carriages — preserving local rail history for future generations.

Kindred Clubhouse

Based in Hastings, Kindred Clubhouse is a free, peer-led community hub supporting people on their mental health recovery journey. Following the internationally recognised Clubhouse model, it offers a safe, inclusive space for members to connect, build confidence, and access opportunities in education, employment, and social participation — all while working side-by-side to run the Clubhouse together.

Gunnamatta Surf Life Saving Club

Nominated by Cr David Gill (Coolart Ward)

Established in 1966, Gunnamatta SLSC is dedicated to protecting one of the Mornington Peninsula’s most treacherous beaches. With over 5,000 rescues and no drownings between the flags, the club plays a critical role in coastal safety. Powered by passionate volunteers, they also run training, education, and youth development programs that build lifesaving skills and strengthen community connection.

Rotary Club of Somerville & Tyabb

Nominated by Cr Kate Roper (Beek Beek Ward)

Driven by the Rotary motto “Service Above Self,” the Rotary Club of Somerville & Tyabb supports a wide range of local and international projects. From youth development and environmental conservation to community events and fundraising for vital services, the club brings people together to make a tangible difference — both at home on the Mornington Peninsula and abroad.

Southern Peninsula Rescue Squad

Southern Peninsula Rescue Squad is a volunteer-led marine search and rescue service based in Blairgowrie. Operating 24/7, the squad responds to emergencies along the Mornington Peninsula coastline, working closely with Victoria Police and other emergency services. With over 50 years of service and a dedicated rescue fleet, the Southern Peninsula Rescue Squad plays a vital role in keeping local waters safe.

Rosebud & McCrae Life Saving Club

Rosebud & McCrae Life Saving Club provides vital beach patrol services and lifesaving education along one of the Mornington Peninsula’s most popular stretches of coastline. With a strong family and community focus, the club offers surf lifesaving training, events, and a vibrant Nippers program that helps shape the next generation of confident, safety-conscious beachgoers.

Safety Beach Dromana Men’s Shed

The Safety Beach Dromana Men’s Shed is a welcoming space that supports men’s mental health, social connection, and lifelong learning. With a focus on community and wellbeing — particularly for older men or those living alone — the shed offers hands-on activities like woodworking, metalwork, and personal or community projects that build skills, friendships, and purpose.

Seawinds Community Hub

Nominated by Cr Cam Williams (Tootgarook Ward)

Located in Capel Sound, Seawinds Community Hub is a welcoming, not-for-profit centre that offers a wide range of programs and services for people of all ages. From early learning and adult education to social connection, a community café, and volunteer opportunities, Seawinds provides a space where locals can connect, learn, and thrive — right in the heart of the Mornington Peninsula.

Projex J

Nominated by Deputy Mayor Cr Paul Pingiaro (Tanti Ward)

Founded by Chantelle Ross after her own journey through deep loss, Projex J is a heart-led movement transforming grief into growth, connection, and courage. Through vibrant community gatherings, free monthly support sessions, and powerful wellbeing initiatives, Projex J stands beside those navigating loss – offering not just a safe space, but a bold invitation to get busy living again.

Sunshine Reserve Conservation Group

The Sunshine Reserve Conservation Group, established in 1997, is a volunteer-driven nonprofit dedicated to preserving the Sunshine Reserve in Mount Martha. Working alongside the Mornington Peninsula Shire Council, the group manages this vital ecological corridor, focusing on habitat restoration, invasive species removal, and community education. Their efforts ensure the protection of native flora and fauna, fostering a deeper connection between the community and the natural environment.
